Peak Time: Late summer Dwarf Chinese astibe is more tolerant of dry conditions than other astilbes but does best with steady moisture. It look great and thrives among rocks and stepping-stones, where the plant shows off its intr-
cately cut foliage. Although it grows by rhizomes, it is not unpleasatly aggressive. This is a tough little plant you can count on.
